Make sure you use the 32bit Keygen!
-even if your OS is 64bit!

Keygen 32bit doesn't work. First time I've had problems with this Autodesk crack. My first clue should have been that the Keygen supplies an activation code that does not fill all the spaces on the Autodesk Activation window for this product

1. Most Autodesk keygens don't fill all the boxes.
2. I would have thought that your first clue was that you are using a 2010 keygen on a 2009 Application (see 4).
3. The first "Activation window" is just a text box, why take the extra steps?
4. Having said all that, the 32-bit Keygen works fine on Win7 x64

re 1: first time this keygen hasn't worked for me.
re 2: OK, yeah, I've been using the 2010 keygen and it totally sailed past me that this was a 2009 app.
re 3: Yes, but since the generated code would not copy/paste, I chose "Type in..." and the spaces provided are more than the character count of the generated code.
re 4: me => XP SP3 32 bit.
In the end, I found a working version that replaces the exe. One thing I've wondered is if this type of solution is considered as proper as the keygen type of crack.

Hmm, I don't know whether "proper" is the right term. I guess purists woudl say that a keygen is better, but if you get your app working, does it really matter how?

I see there has been a decision not to sell IM 2009 as a standalone.
As of November 2, 2009, users will only be able to obtain a license of ImageModeler 2009 when they purchase a license of Autodesk 3ds Max 2010, Autodesk 3ds Mac Design 2010 or Autodesk Maya 2010 software with Autodesk Subscription.

They based their decision on the fact there were fewer than 100 customers of v2009.
