Thanks (Given): 314 Thanks (Received): 326 | Treasure Chest of Vintage CG Software
Cinema 4D XL R6 Win32 VINTAGE!!
Hello Everyone, With all the Hype going on about the new C4D R14 I decided to unleash this ULTRA-VINTAGE edition of C4D from the year 2000! It certainly was kick-ass back then too. A great time to do some comparing & a bit of nostalgia. This was certainly 'Bloat-Free' with a installer of just 7.86 mb!!! Amazing what it could do in that small size! See for yourself...Installs in German language but you can change it to english after. Added info in case you can't figure it out but it's pretty easy. Serial included.
Tested WinXP SP2 & SP3... 1-5-13 As of now this is a vintage post forum thanks to SeedStyler. If you have any vintage CG soft to share please do. What guidelines for vintage? I'd say 5 year old releases or older with kudos for 'odd' or 'rare'. This would include devs first releases or releases before companies were bought by other companies. All OS WELCOME!

Great! Installed within 3 Minutes! Now it'd be interesting to see what you can do with it until you find something that requires a higher version. I bet it's a lot with some workarounds.

There are a few ancient plug ins that only work with older versions. I've got a few projects I can open and export out with this :-)

Is this point release .4533 or .3566? I've been looking everywhere for .3566 but its nowhere to be found. .4533 doesn't have enough bugs for me. I like living on the edge, in the past.

Found out:
1+LMM - Pan
1+RMM - Zoom
2+LMM - Zoom
2+RMM - //
3+LMM - Orbit Horizontal
3+RMM - Orbit Vertical
There is an option to enable Tablet too, it was ahead of it's time, but it doesn't have an Edge selection tool... Sorry, only in the Polygon or Vertex with this version.

This shitty avatar of mine, Ultima IV's Avatar, was originally modelled with V2 for Amiga, back in '94-'95. The other day I remade it with one cube and Mograph cloner and effector. Guess it was a bigger hassle to model back then.
If anyone feels like Amiga-emulating, I can upload the diskettes after Christmas.

Thanks (Given): 457 Thanks (Received): 48 | sorry, maybe the crack was a separate download. ![Frown]()
but... I DO keep all cracks, so...
here you go! or there are 2 cracks inside the archive but I don't remember which to use.
it must be "Maya_5.0_Crack_B", the other one looks weird.
let me know if you get it to work.

You bet great old stuff!....And tightly coded as well. Looking at the old pricings these weren't much cheaper than same soft today because at the time these were 'cutting edge'. I saw a Power Animator Demo Reel on youtube from like '95...it was a GAS!

Amazing thing is that it's Thinapped (portable) version that runs perfectly under Windows 7 x64 :-)

Mile19...I would love LW4 Portable. I have the installer version of LW4 but it requires a couple dos patches to be run in the app dir to crack so a portable would be a great timesaver!

Thanks Mile19...All 3 work great WinXP. That Illuminaire Paint looked like quite the Illustrating app for 1997. I would have to say in reverence of Newtek LightWave that it has been one of the 3D apps least bloated out of them all.
Anybody got Modo 1 or 2 ?

I do not know why not let me edit my previous message.
The 3dsmax version that is in the collection, not the v2012. Is the v1.2.
-----------
I know the post is old soft3d, but by chance ... Does anyone have a superior version of "lumiscaphe patchwork3d"?

GREAT JOB jiv21...What a vintage cornucopia. Most extracted fine. Had to delete the Eovia Carrara 3 & Lumiscaphe Patchwork folders because of corruption but was better than hoped for. Animatek WorldBuilder had a bad one too but I think it was just a library file so should be fine...MANY MANY THANKS. Sorry I don't have a recent version of patchwork as none of my comps have a good enough video card to run it...So never bothered to DL.
