I did the same just launched the beta version of 6.5 and it did not work, and the same thing happened to version 6.51 and when you do all these step to reinstall get an error and can not start Edius. You buy the student version for $ 145, I got tired of waiting for a crack.

And you will not get a password, either. This file is a fake because there is no crack or keygen yet available for 6.5. That link seems only meant to sucker people like you into purchasing a premium account, and then after you download the fake file, you get no RAR password.

To upgrade you need atleast 6.5 version of edius

99% but are things of p2 and extra not important....
problem is the reset...not work in ALL pc, if you not see the 0 sector is not way to use the RESET.
but is time any one try to crack edius!!..with the update 6.53 (on the trial 6.52) is really possibile... but need crakers who try to do!
