FinalRender still not available for Maya 2010 and no Crack for SP4c for Maya 2009, (also after 4 releases, still can't render Maya Hair/Fur and fluids!) - there is a fix for sp4c (but not for every1), but like u said FR sux....

3Delight sucks too! (forget this too...) - well if ur renderman lover this is a nice replacement

also the probl is not in people who make rendering plugins its the probl in AD coz they didnt publish the fur, hair and fluids SDK so people dont know how the shit works, if u know what i mean...

no my friend, as far as i know u can render fluids only with soft and mr render (fully supported)
other renders do not support fluids... (u can check ur self)
