They are using serial on it? As far as I'm aware, Video Copilot has never used keys for any of their plug-ins. You just need the files and it will work, unless they have changed this for just this one plug-ins.

I know for Twitch you need a certain registry file to install it, that you get when you buy it. But that is the only security that I know of that Video Copilot uses for it's products.

I know that they have never used serials on any of their products, but then again; Twitch was the only commercial plug-in they had, and it's been a while since it's release. I do doubt that there will be a serial; but considering this is their most powerful and expensive plug-in and keeping in mind that it's much more recent than Twitch, it's a possibility. Let's just hope not for the sake of an early fully functional release

We should have the plugin first then think to crack it, if necessary, and will be just matter of time. I read on web page that is such big one about 400MB, guess cause presets inside it. Hope someone who buy it want share with us, even the download link :PP

Btw, how do you guys search for this plugin? I use plain old Google but that only gives a alot of fake rapidshare urls. 5 or 6 of the biggest torrent sites also don't have it yet. But other then that I don't really know how to search properly.

It's legit. Seems that this plugin is protected by a hardware fingerprint which you can obtain only if you've purchased the product. But this is actually working, well, the plugin loads fine. Other then that it's still useless.

@aniki: Have you bought the product? If so, is it also possible to send the key? Maybe some guys who know something about cracking can circumvent the protection. But this is a good start to say the least. Thanks!

The plugin itself generates the hardware ID and compares it against the key to verify it's validity. In other words, a cracker only needs the plugin to reverse engineer a keygen.
