Don´t get me wrong , i love it! in a recent shot i've been working, i needed some helicopter footage raising in front of a large balcony...i animated one uh60 aplying one of the ibl presets, exported a tif sequence with alpha to after effects and composed a pretty decent shot... i guess that would have take ages in 3ds max or maya to accomplish, it was 15 minutes in Iclone... I really like face creation from pictures, but as i told you, hair is a bit frustrating , i'd like to be able to model the hair from the pictures i'm using, front and side...i know is my limitation, could be done in Zbrush...just dreaming... I really like your models too...the thread you created is a treasure chest! |

hi guys, its 6.05 am amd im just getting up for work, i live in scotland and have been using iclone for some considerable time, came across this site some time ago but never got into it untill recently, love seeing all the posts,i work in an operating theatre as a senior medical tech but have had an interest in iclone as it gives fast results and the content is almost limitless...

just a thought, whats the spec of your pc for running iclone, im using windows 7 64 bit with 8 gig ddr3 ram and gforce 240 graphics , amd quad core cpu, goes like a bat outa hell but still struggles slightly with big files like the terminator that i posted a while bac,k thinking of upgrading the graphics card to something a bit more beefy and mobo for better chipset, built pcs for a hobby, drives the wife nuts |

hm... iClone, this thread makes me think I should try it. I'll be doing some movie pre-viz and if it is indeed as easy to use as you people say it could come in handy. anything important I should know about it? I'm a c4d user. |

@muchograndes. Iclone pro 4 has basic stuff to get started. The content packages are then added to Iclone Mainframe. The low poly count is main consideration for realtime animation. As a result close up shots can show this low polycount. Normal maps can be used to increase realism. (Mudbox\ Zbrush) Iclone 3dxchange is a seperate program that helps with pipeline. It can convert .obj to Iclone ready props\scenes. ( it does more then convert.) Iclone has multiple cameras and switching can be done. The exported video(s) can be put in NLE like Vegas\ Premiere and combined. The list goes on but Iclone is fast for pre-viz. It is worth a look. |

just a small request...does anyone has the 3ds max 2010 Extracted and installed? i need it for 2011, but the installer refuses to continue...they told me that direct copying from 2010 works..thanks!!!!

@maximas2000 There are Iclone avatar templates that can be opened in Max. Then in Max you modify. There is also a Max Iclone export plugin that exports your work to an Iclone avatar file. |

For the first time IClone avatars can interact with each other. I have both but they will have Watermark. I can not share these packages. Well I would like to see what you going to say to Nex sin he was the one who banned Tiger after carefully reading what he said, also read what Tiger said and you'll see he went beyond the limits, being pissd is not justification to insult other users, if you feel something is wrong go use the report button and do not engage in verbal abuse because it will only lead to a ban. | ||

thanks 3DEXILE as for the banning thing goes, i do agree that people should get a warning first before a ban. why don't you guys install a warning system or something. seems more fair that way. |

Too many walls of text. It's a 1 day ban, not 3. Warnings are issued depending on the severity. If its nothing much and someones just being a tad too mean, he'll get a warning. If someone writes up a rather long paragraph on how much that person is a crazed dough bag who can go fuck himself, I directly issue a one day ban, since it's obvious that person needs time to cool off. Obviously "you" can't see that since it was deleted off, like all posts that are just pure flaming. But thanks for that lecture 3dxile. It's not like I've had many sites before this I've operated, and know from experience the difference between a warning and a temp ban. I don't respect members that disprect others, that should be obvious. But I'm never harsh. Next time don't start assuming things and ranting in threads polluting them with offtopic rantings not related to the thread and use irc instead to debate your opinion. It's just fun how before when I tried to be lax with people and their "opinions" no matter how harsh/retarded, everyone goes crazy noting that the posting quality is horrid. Then when I try be to stricter on flaming (Not harsh.. just stricter), I get long rants on how terrible moderation is. lol internet

i tried to put daz cloth onto iclone characters. it works well with some motions, with others it doesnt. check the pic. i hope nobody gets horny right bout now

In a jury trial, I was found guilty. I agree I acted much uncivilized on my breaking point, but why? Being a real New Yorker, I don’t compromise; either I break through or die. I love my filthy – uncivilized New York and I’ll never trade it for anything in this world. This animal is in Hell Loose now; he might strike again if someone wants to challenge his limit or confidence. So, it is questionable that how long will he be allowed to stay here? Mmm, that freehost is being painfully slow. I do sell proper hosting if you're interested. Full Lamp stack with cPanel. 5gb of space, 300gb/m of bandwidth. Seeing how your site is new, I could offer the first two weeks for free for you to try out seeing how you're a long time member. Then swap to $5/m seeing how it's still new and small. And eventually swap to $10/m (My proper package price) Once it starts to pick up in traffic (Can easily pay itself off with ads at that point). Note: I allow nulled scripts, so you can use vbulletin if you want Let me know on irc if you're interested.

Update on icloneaficionados site. Seems to run faster now. IE and Firefox had a lag with mouse scroll wheel (page up-down) Opera was Ok. Dunno if it was Java deal, Seems Ok now. ---------------------- This section is a good preview of new site.

I have heard that Archos devices use Opera browser. Opera Java is internal, Plus Opera is not targeted like IE\ Firefox for exploits. |
