I notice links go dead after 1 day this is a time recorde since I've seen links stay up for weeks, I guess evermotion google themself or something and find it.

maybe your should start calling it ev3rmotion and a.models
a.interiors etc..

so it will be less obiouves.

and when uploading the file maybe it should be renamed to "cgmodelcollection1"

As much as some people would like to believe all links originate here, that's just not the case.
Most links are shared by dozens, if not hundreds of other sites, any one of which could be the
reason for links being reported.

Those links that do originate here, should of course be randomly named, but if there's a spy here, it won't matter anyways.

Just take what you can get, when you can get it, because they'll always find a way to block
stuff, and people will always find a way to share it.

For evermotion I suggest people start uploading via torrent (not demonoid) but pirate bay they can't take those links down

I believe Ironboy is referring to the fact that staff there are alot less likely to remove links then RS is. Without trying to get the rumor mill going, that won't be the case (for TPB) much longer. Torrents in general are harder to remove then a RS link, but also come with their own problems.

Nobody removes torrents only the tracker owners or mods well also its possible to hack a tracker and delete torrents but that's another thing. Torrents remain as long people are seeding it so it's really good suggestion to use them.

I should just finally stop being lazy and get that Vb torrent tracker backend working. Even though I'll have to rewrite most of it since it's deliciously buggy.

Protip to evermotions legal team, I wish you the best of luck brining down a torrent tracker, especially in a foreign country where the datacenter doesn't give a shit about anything and allow seed boxs.

Links are encrypted by linksave in a dlc download container. you can use jdownloader for download.
the original rs links will NEVER be displayed in plain text.

I use jdownloader too - it's a nice app.

About the topic: I would guess changing anything about how the link appears will not solve the problem. The only thing that would help is to control who can register to your site and see the link.

Too bad there isnt a way like for hookers in american movies to make the client show his penis - which apparently (in movie world) cops are not allowed to do and thus - it is a way to make sure your client is not a cop.

Torrents have the obvious problem of not downloading nearly as fast.

edit: I think its safe to say that file sharing as we have known it in the last few years will not be around for long. It is annoying - but you have to respect the creator's right to try and protect their product - which they work hard to produce - from being stolen.

I imagine that this job of tracking and finding illegal content by joining communities - will become more and more of an industry.
