anyone seen a keygen for Smoke on Mac
you can download the trial and request a license so hopefully XForce on making a keygen

Even if a keygen comes out for the SmacK Smoke on Mac....
it will be pretty useless since there is no SOUND module unless you have
the aja kona card since that is the only way sound can be heard FOR NOW at least....

In other words.....move onto something else.....

unless you have a new kick ass system with specific hardware etc, it won't run anyway

Thats not true. it actually runs quite well on most modern Mac systems regardless of the requirements. The trial is a free download. Try it.

I have a Mac Pro 1,1. Dual core intel Xeon 2.66 with 6GB of memory. Not the latest i know. Donwloaded the trial, But it will not run smoke. And thats a fact.

I had it installed on macbook pro and it works like a charm EXCEPT
the sound module does not work unless you have AJA KONA card.

Other than that....works great.

The fact is you most likely have an ATI video card. Works fine on that mac with nVidia.

And without the dedicated hardware it works like crap anyway

are you sure because i have an iMac i7 with no AJA KONA sound card or Nvidia graphics card and the sound module works perfect... ive even render out many files from practicing with online tutorials

For instance Boujou 5. I had been waiting for years for a mac version when it was boujou 2. I think this one is one you will have to forget about until it just shows up. For instance I have also never found Motionbuilder for mac. Ever. If its out there that would be cool.

I heard someone talking about a k for this floating around the southern basin of the Pakistan Mountains and also possibly near some of the new found minerals in Afghanistan. I am waiting for smoke 2011 too. I could install linux and IFFFS, also in a macpro with a win quadrofx. But working on snowleopard would be nice.

Bgood,..thats exactly my thoughts. Im still holding off on buying a win machine in hopes well get smoke for mac. SO i can keep my workflow nice and clean in osx.

mike,..i was thinking about it but 15 grand is a bit much. What with Davinci being 1k right now,..thats more like it.

But hey if it makes money then i would buy it,..i mainly need to figure it out first and see if it will even speed my worflow drastically,..and 30 days not enough for me to properly put it through its paces.
