There is no such PS CS2 for Linux but it's the most complete and compatible version to work under Linux through Wine, even the ME version works like it should with a full CTL/RTL support, so if you don't need the new 3D tools on the latests CSes releases I'd recommend sticking to the CS2 and if you have some extra time to learn GIMP I'm pretty sure you'll adopt it against the PS which is even better.

Photoshop was never available for Linux. There have been releases for IRIX (when IRIX used to be the mainstay architecture for CG and Post production), and some studios had worked with Codeweavers to successfully port it to Linux (I think even SoftImage |XSI uses the Win 32 emulation layer till present). However the newer versions have failed to run with WINE/Crossover. To me - GIMP does the job and is a good rival to Photoshop, considering it is free!
