Pulldownit Pro Ver 1.7 for Maya 2009 to 2012 32Bit and 64Bit

Pulldownit! is a brand new dynamics
solver which allows for the creation of fractures as well as massive
rigid bodies simulations.
By using its technology digital artists
are able to simulate fast and easily scenes made of thousands of objects
and collapse buildings, bridges or any kind of brittle material.

Hi! Please help those who faced the similar problem with fractured pieces that keep jittering and never settle to a complete stand still, I noticed that this happens only with those pieces that rub against each other! How did you manage to solve this problem? 'll be very grateful for response!

Thank you

usually that happens if there is no friction, collision damping or if your scale is totally out. Say you want to take down a wall but your scene / object scales makes it so your wall is 0.004 mm high and your bricks are even smaller, then physics systems tend to go haywire.

Also... I REALLY would love an OSX Maya version.

luci5r 09-07-2012 03:52 PM

Does anyone know if this one works with Maya 2013? On the Pulldownit website they have stated their latest plugin released in May 2012 is compatible with Maya 2013 .... but they don't give Version Numbers on the website. Not sure if 1.7 works with 2013 or not.

Thanks.

having some install problems in maya 2012, i think it's the paths, trying to follow the directions to the T.

plugin folder: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2012\bin\plug-ins\pdiMaya_2012\
text file folder: C:\Users\xxxx\Documents\maya\Maya modules

does that make sense? i didn't have a pre-existing maya modules folder but C:\Users\xxxx\Documents\maya\ is what came up when i put getenv MAYA_APP_DIR into the command line

anyway maya shatter is driving me crazy, eager to try this plugin out, thanks!

Not quiet. Try this:

1. add a folder "modules" to ...\Documents\maya
2. put the textfile there and change the path in it to the path where you pasted the pdi content. I think you put it under: "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2012\bin\plug-ins\pdiMaya_2012\"

3. that should be it

billlovecg 01-10-2013 01:02 PM
