Unwrella – Optimal Automatic Unwrapping

Unwrella is an exact unwrapping plug-in for Autodesk 3DSMAX and Autodesk Maya. It is a single click solution which allows you to automatically unfold your 3D models with exact pixel to model surface aspect ratio, speeding up texture baking UV map production significantly.

* Automatic one-click solution – Just apply the Unwrella modifier
* Precise – Preserves user created UV Seams
* Smart – Reduces texture mapping seams almost completely and minimizes surface stretching
* Efficient – Chunks are kept large and are arranged on the UV surface with maximal use of available space
* User-friendly – User defined pixel based padding between UV chunks
* Excellent for all kinds of models (organic, human, industrial)

I followed the instructions in the crack
When I try to Load it from the Plug in manager, this error comes out;
// Error: The specified module could not be found.

Hope anyone could help me with this. Thanks!

FYI: I am using Maya 2009 SP1a

why? in roadkill you have to put seams.. unwrella is the only that makes seams automaticaly, for texture baking perfect. Roadkill crashes by me by each second object

Actually It's very weird...in some objects, Unwrella is fantastic...in others, Maya Automatic is best, and then in others Roadkill is best.

Go figure.

UV unwrapping is one of the most difficult and potentially boring parts of the entire 3d graphics process. Any tool that can speed it up is a godsend. So here's to Unwrella, Roadkill and even Unfold3d..
