Default Does a car disc brake rotate with the wheeL?

I am working on animating a car using Drive in C4D. The way the set-up is done, the disc bake turns and rotate with the front wheel. I think it is not exact. It should somehow stay in place and only turn left right with the wheel. How would you manage that? With an expression or a constraint tag? Everything else works great. Any help?

The brake disc (also called the rotor) rotates with the wheel and the caliper is static (doesn't spin). Both parts are located between the wheel and the hub.

The caliper is the bit attached to the car, so when it pinches the rotating disc, it resists the wheel's rotating motion.

I fixed my problem. Drive parented the brake piece (not the disc) to the wheel, I changed it to parent to the body.... Which was wrong. NO parenting, just a double set of rrotating nulls, much the same as using nulls to drive a camera.

Damn! It cut out just when it got interesting - I wanted to see how the truck freed itself after high-centering on those large boulders...
