I also have a little trouble since the last NVDIA driver update, after the update Adobe Media Encoder all of a sudden didn't use CUDA anymore.

So, if a few days ago there was no problem, try rolling back the GPU driver one version. This will fix it untill NVIDIA comes with an update.

All good suggestions. Knowing the crashes only happen when right-clicking images should narrow the list of shell extensions that might be causing it. If you've recently installed new graphics software or drivers, start there. If not, and it's the result of random Windows Update f**kery, uninstalling the latest updates, or rolling Windows back to the last Restore Point may do the trick temporarily. If all else fails, try uninstalling - one at a time - any graphics software that has added shell extensions to Explorer. Ultimately you'll need to identify and fix the specific shell extension responsible. If it's a popular program, it's a good guess you're not alone, so hopefully the developer will issue a fix soon.

I ended up finding. I uninstalled Allegorithmic's "substance" ... and everything went back to normal.
Thank you

You may still be able to use the software. If it has an option to add shell extensions, try disabling it. This may come up as an install option, or be configurable afterwards.
