Default Piccure Plus Standalone & Plug-in 3.1.0.0 MacOSX

Latest Mac version. Scanned ok but I can't test Mac stuff. Please comment if not working ok. Seems to have had quite a few bugs fixed. Over 600 cameras supported.

Piccure+ is a new application capable of correcting optical aberrations and camera shake that cause a lack of sharpness in your images. It integrates seamlessly as a plugin (filter) into Adobe? Photoshop?, Photoshop? Elements and Lightroom?. It can also be called directly from within DxO Optics Pro? and PhaseOne CaptureOne?. piccure+ also works as standalone including RAW converter.

Doesn't work. Asks for activation every time (following instructions located in the file). Thanks anyway.

With 10.11.6 following the instructions works fine for me on my hackinthosh. I installed pkg, dragged whole app folder, but needs full internet connection to work, otherwise it asks for key. I don't have Little Snitch installed LoL. Thx for posting.

@ onurmythcg. Thanks for that. Much appreciated. I forgot about the net connection to activate. Only guessing but it might be ok to block the app after it activated.

Unfortunately not snowden, you will need internet connection every time you re-start the app. If not, it will asks for you to enter activation key in each start. At least, that's how it worked for me

@ onurmythcg. Hmmm. Thats not my idea of secure. But there are a few apps around that do that and they seem to work fine. Lets hope this one is the same.

Didn't work for me after trying three times-totally removing all remnants after each try. Of course, I use Little Snitch. But I allowed all connections. Has to be something being blocked by Little Snitch, I would think. Thanks again for putting it out there!

@ cmonet. Just seems a little odd that the user who got it working fine didn't have Little Snitch installed. I'd guess thats the favourite culprit to look at first. Looks like this app has GOT to startup unblocked.

@ pfracer. You made a good point there. Remnants of old versions can cause trouble. Normally licence files and things like that. Ok when the file is reasonably easy to identify, but when its called 6574.file you have big problems.

I had the previous version installed, but uninstalled it using AppDelete, which supposedly removes everything. Disabled Little Snitch. Still didn't work. But I appreciate the efforts by all. Thanks.

I think if post 4 didn't have an older version installed you have your answer. Its remnants. Or something blocking traffic when you think it isn't. If its blocked by mistake the attempt should be in your firewall logs. Listed as a blocked outbound.

As for app uninstallers, I wouldn't waste my drive space with any of them. They don't get everything. None of them do.
Even if they record every file written by the installer they don't record what the OS writes later. If you don't record the install with one of these apps then they are definitely a waste of drive space.

I forgot to mention that I had no previous versions installed on my system. The leftovers might be some of the following, not sure though:

/private/var/db/receipts/com.InteligentImaginingSolutions.piccure.IIS2-1.pkg.bom
/private/var/db/receipts/com.InteligentImaginingSolutions.piccure.IIS2-1.pkg.plist
/private/var/db/receipts/com.InteligentImaginingSolutions.piccure.IIS2.pkg. bom
/private/var/db/receipts/com.InteligentImaginingSolutions.piccure.IIS2.pkg. plist
/private/var/db/receipts/com.InteligentImaginingSolutions.piccure.imageform ats.pkg.bom
/private/var/db/receipts/com.InteligentImaginingSolutions.piccure.imageform ats.pkg.plist
/private/var/db/receipts/com.InteligentImaginingSolutions.piccure.Piccure+. pkg.bom
/private/var/db/receipts/com.InteligentImaginingSolutions.piccure.Piccure+. pkg.plist
/private/var/db/receipts/com.InteligentImaginingSolutions.piccure.QtCore.pk g.bom
/private/var/db/receipts/com.InteligentImaginingSolutions.piccure.QtCore.pk g.plist
/private/var/db/receipts/com.InteligentImaginingSolutions.piccure.QtGui.pkg .bom
/private/var/db/receipts/com.InteligentImaginingSolutions.piccure.QtGui.pkg .plist
/private/var/db/receipts/com.InteligentImaginingSolutions.piccure.QtNetwork .pkg.bom
/private/var/db/receipts/com.InteligentImaginingSolutions.piccure.QtNetwork .pkg.plist
/private/var/db/receipts/com.InteligentImaginingSolutions.piccure.Sparkle.p kg.bom
/private/var/db/receipts/com.InteligentImaginingSolutions.piccure.Sparkle.p kg.plist

Or anything related to Piccure, i don't know honestly. It worked for me like the way I explained above.

@ onurmythcg. I think having an older version not cleaned out is the cause. I don't know whether your list is good or not, but they all contain the word Piccure. A fliesearch app would have those deleted in 5 seconds flat. Lets hope the culprit has piccure in its name.
