Default Is Vred Pro is really good?

I see vred professional prices,
......., 1k for 1 month, 11k for 1 year!!

is it really good? even keyshot only 1k-2k for permanent licenses,
are they rendering technology is really good for 11k/1 year?
I can buy real car with that money, not car.jpg

is it because vred pro is for enterprise?

nah, not that good - just simple to use & up to the point, also a good presentation candy (configurator) - used by BMW, Merc, RR...
all of which can make insanely fucked greedy sales & management wet with hard on (11k is peanuts)... as long as they too are capable & proud for pressing a magic button (meaning: even totally idiotic servant/assistant can make a work of an artist instantly - no need for outsourcing & deadlines) in front of another dumbed down oily client.

So in today's environment, society, it is a very good thing.

1k is really just a tire in the upper circle

Vred is a very powerful app in term of visualisation, this app literally beat keyshot 6 cuz of the fast rasterization + Ao baking
check this video to know what i'm talking about:

One thing i hate about vred is the stupid parameters, u need to activate aa to do a progressive raytrace !!!! besides the tricky ways of rendering
animations. Vred is a great app made by lazy devs, i will be very pissed if they kill it considering the last release...

I should not underestimate keyshot 6 cuz this version really amazing, since it support PBR materials which i wanted since keyshot 4.
More over, waiting for KS 7 and if it will support and improve alembic meshes like fuilds that would be the day. also i wouldn't bother with vred.

Why do you prefer alembic instead of FBX what is advantage of usinc alembic instead of FBX?

@ Dany, your renders are awesome, but I have feeling that you can achieve similar result in others render engine..... and that is point. All renderer are good, with all you can make result, some are better, or have more options, or are simpler, quicker...
But in the end, this is your responsibility.

I am not a specialist in this area (I use alembic only eventually). I think one of Alembic's main points is performance on some types of animated geometry with millions of polygons. I use alembic to bring fluids from Houdini to 3ds Max (alembic for fluids, liquids, destructions, and Vdb for explosions, smoke, etc.). Imagine running a fluid animation with millions of polygons (gigabytes) increasing every second in 3ds Max's viewport? With Alembic it is possible in real time (or almost) using Alembic Container and performance mode.

Read the specifications of these formats so that you will have a detailed technical explanation.

Vred is amazing I recommend it strongly. However please buy it once you have the money to support the devs if you decide to pirate it.

your guys are right, after watch some videos about Vred, damn it, this software is really awesome, esp for its realtime power with that render quality.

@freedlcerinos, haha don't worry, no need to be jack sparrow to use vred, Autodesk give us 3years for educational purposes

but with that prices (atleast for me) it is really hard to choose vred or keyshot, 2 month vred or 1 permanent keyshot,

but yeah, I really like vred The price reflects it's quality
