tengo un inconveniente... al abrir AI, coloco el serial de CadTools, se abre y todo funciona de maravilla... pero al abrir nuevamente Ai y cada vez que lo abro me pide que active CadTools. Alguien sabe por que ocurre?

just tried that but it still ask for it. I have illustrator cs5 & cs6 installed & that only happened to cs6. strange behavior. Thanks for the advise anyway. Merry Christmas 2!

thanks a lot...works like a charme on CS6 64bit.

For those with restart problem... try to reset the illu preferences...at startup press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT... close and restart again... I had a problem like that with CS5 and I solved in this way.

And yes, you can just install 8.0.5 over the 8.0.4 release, just make sure you follow the installation instructions and point the installation to the Tools folder so everything will function as intended.

Then you can use the info in Petshopper's original post above to also make 8.0.5 work.

It's always treated as demo at the start and thus require to type the serial on every startup if you wan't to activate it as full version. Is there a bypass to that annoyance?

Hi jebac!

That shouldn't happen. Try to uninstall any instance of the plug-in, restart your system and then install it again, making sure you install it in the "Adobe Illustrator CS5.1\Plug-ins\Tools" folder as Admin!

Also note that with CS6 you can have both a 32bit and 64bit version of Illustrator, so make sure you install in the correct place.

The version 8.0.8 is working under CS5 and CS6 but is asking for the SN everytime when CS5 is started.

The latest version 8.1.0 is locked.

Yes, 8.0.4 had some irritating bugs. Here are some links to 8.0.7 (same nfo as 8.0.4 as it still works, just disable your network card before installing to be on the safe side):

Yup, I previously tested to install 8.0.7 stright over the 8.0.4 install and all just continued to work perfectly =)
Version 8.1.0 is a no-go though, this serial has been black listed in that version.
