Lightbulb Combustion Complete Training (8 DVD's)

Links:

The first 15 hours of training you will learn how to work efficiently within combustion's streamlined interface and take full advantage of combustion's unified paint, animating, and compositing abilities. Every feature is covered in great detail including compositing, painting, animating, lights, cameras, color correction, rotoscoping, keying, tracking, stabilizing, text tools, particles, and much more. Hands-on lessons and tutorials are organized starting with simple concepts and end at the advanced user level.
[Author: Kenneth LaRue - Discreet Training Specialist]

The last 5 hours of training will cover in detail all the newest features of version 3 including the Edit Operator, Split and Slip Layers, Expressions, RE:Flex Plugin, and much more. We will walk you through all the new features and then put the tools to work using advanced projects including the use of the Paint Module, using Expressions and then looking at how to approach a project with combustion.
[Author: Ben Munkres - Discreet Training Specialist]

After this training, you will be diving into more complex projects with a deeper understanding of the tools in combustion 3 and a more in-depth knowledge of how to put all of combustion to work for you now.

Why?, combustion is dead software, go for Nuke or Fusion.

Yeah, another sad ad story. Combustion was killed and Composite is the current ad product for this.

It's very uncomprensible the end of Combustion... I'm sure it was one of the best program ever, the "real" competitor of Adobe After Effects about motion-graphics, very exceptional for compositing and motion-graphics too. I'm still using it even though it start to be too much obsolete (32bit)... Probably Adesk "kills" Combustion not to Toxik|Composite reason but to its high-budget applications (Flame, Inferno, Smoke, etc...)... Maybe some studios had preferred to buying the more affordable Combustion sets instead of 250k $ applications... Anyway Combustion had a great potential and it's a very big mistake abandon it by Adesk... Hope it don't give the same end to Maya and|or Softimage...
