There's not many usefull plugins for ZBrush (official ones are good and free)... But it's not a bad idea to make zbrush\mudbox\3dcoat tutorial section...

I wonder ZBrush why do not have a own section like 3dsmax, maya, after effects, houdini, light wave and so on...

Because much more popular, more useful and unique than the others..
and dont forget ZBrush have lots of content like Video-Tutorials, Books, Workshops, Master Classes more that houdini or light wave i think...

Any type of digital artists should use ZBrush

I never use it yet.
Download ZBrush 4 for Mac, but never fire it up for real.
Much of the work on Pixologic site is boring and bad copy of classical Greece sculpture.

But you can see great work made on ZBrush on ads, shorts from Europe and Canada, works outside game bull.

I just had to LOL at that. yet another pretentious statement by someone....
If you fail to see the art and skill in the works shown on the Pixologic forums, then what makes you think you can even appreciate the classical Greece art?
man you are funny

It's hard to copy classical greek art. Believe me.
Personally, I find that very beautiful, and it changes from 3D sifi creatures .
And you can do a lot of other things with ZBrush, it's a very powerful and creative tool.

The reason is simple. It's obvious that, in spite of the popularity of Zbrush and it's following.
In spite of the posts related to the new Release 2 reaching over 60 thousand views.
In spite of the sheer variety of uses for Zbrush and the need to sort those out along with the important number of tutorials available... In spite of ALL that, the site owner and moderators, don't have any interest in opening a Zbrush tutorials section.

It's somewhat like beating a dead horse to even ask for it.

Oh, but taking updates of Chit-Chat out off the main page index so that the irrelevant to CG posts don't clutter the 'important' releases... that was done in a heartbeat. Of course, and I understand why. Chit-chat tends to get confrontational since the majority do not know a thing about how to debate, don't respect other people's opinions and turn every question regarding which program to use into a senseless "A" vs "B' vs "C" application subjective tug of war.

Setting up a very much needed CG Inquiry section, to distinguish between graphic related issues and the mere mindless chit-chat, that also took a heart beat or two.

If I were you folks... I wouldn't hold my breath waiting to see a Zbrush tutorials section... The interest on the part of the powers that be... is just not there.

What was it that Einstein said? Doing something the very same way and expecting a different result is sheer craziness...or something in that order.

Cheers

I agree with you, my old friend, but it seems to be rather a teen forum than a real cg one, so that we must understand that they need to express themselves. I think they will be concerned later.
The old stuff as we ere must make room. We are overwhelmed, we know nothing, and we no longer live in the same century, remember? Once, when people respected each other.

Do you return to the hospice? you can bring me back to mine?

By the way, did I tell you that I still have two or three Rolling Stones LP vinyl ??

And did you hear that Freddy Mercury died..? I can't believe that..

Teen for sure and mostly mediocre skills and work. I only come here for the free stuff. Talking to the jerks on this site makes me not care one bit about it so I say whatever I want and not care one bit about the site. This username is unique because I don't want any of my art admirers to know I pirate lol. On CGTalk though I am very well behaved and very well liked. I still only behave badly to people who behave badly to me first on here though. I consider you probably my closest friend on this site yet I have barely talked to you. Goes to show no one really gives a crap on here lol. Also the fact that this is a pirate site attracts mainly the pirate kind of people if you know what I mean lol.

So we'll meet again on CGTalk.. I am often on CGTalk, and CGsoc , as old member too..

And talk together here..Hard to do, I must be allowed to place one word. And can you imagine our discussion? Short speak , 5 or 7
external interventions, response, 5 or 7 interventions. It is no longer in our age all this.

You said everything right here. I remember when people were asking for a modo section too. Modo has lots of tutorials that are plastered all over the tutorials section here in an inorderly fashion and makes it a nightmare to find multiple tutorials for it unless you check every day of course. But... the moderators don't like modo so no matter how many other people do like it or how many tutorials it is building up with it will never get its own section simply because the guys in charge are bias. Kind of like the way all governments are. Leader knows best. I guess we can't really complain though because it is not like we are forced to pay and I sure as hell know that I would never donate unless the leaders listened to the community instead of listening to the broom up their ass.

Well I am considering abandoning this site because of all the haters and arrogance. It would probably be for the best in a lot of ways too.

You won't be alone. But I don't leave this site yet. There so much to learn from kids..You'd better stay a while, may be one day, one of them could teach us how to model , or all those new stuff.

---------- Post added at 03:17 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:10 AM ----------

And what about opening a new thread for old people only ?
