Is there anyway to ignore nirrol?
His gif is annoying and his "personality" seems to resemble a grown man, trapped in a childs mind.

Is there any chance to convert Substance Designers *.sbs into *.sbsar for 3DS Max Design 2011? Otherwise I do not see the whole purpose of this tool. :)

Whale 03-09-2011 04:05 PM

Hi together,

well I'm not as sure as I maybe should be 'bout this piece of code. We had a couple of productions with Darktree used in it.
Unfortunately there is no more upcoming development with it. So everybody whos interested in procedural textures get the "new" ability in form of Substance. But is it as comfortable as it was with darktree ? So whats up with the industrie that they dont't find a new handy way to handle procedural textures as we was used to handle it with darktree.... (just an suggestion). Maybe I'm a purist. Maybe my decisions to use a software depends to much in going in the didirection of an open usability. Well, I miss a new release of darktree...

I didnt test the tool but I also would like to know if:
Can Maya or Max's substance engine read the substance standalone version files?
If some one knows anything about it...please let me know!

Ok if you can read the manual , available on their website for free, they say the sbsar format is preceeded the older format and you should right click and publish your substance to get the correct format. And yes you can use the resulting file in maya or max.

I too miss darktree. A true procedural texture has more advantages than a bitmap tiled one. But its more difficult to create and for quick realism, its the bitmap one.

WOW, thats great!! Im pretty sure that people are going to create lots of librarys of substance materials; since substace is now standard in Autodesks main softwares...

Jamie1992 04-13-2011 04:00 PM

Please help how do we use this for UNITY 3D I was told it should work with it.

Thanks

EDIT

I see we need Substance Air and the UNITY 3D importer files is this correct?.

Thanks

omnious 04-13-2011 11:53 PM

@Jamie1992

I don't think that Unity3D plugin is available yet. They showcased it at the GDC 2011 but that's about it. Oh yeah and I believe $900 for it.

Maybe it ends up being part of Unity 3.4 or 3.5?

Saint Michael 04-17-2011 07:02 AM

wow, I didn't even know this had been cracked, and here i was looking all over for it and here it is.

Thanks........

PhilCoraz 05-09-2011 04:03 PM

Hi Kumar21

Can you be a little bit more explicite on how to turn sbs files in sbsar. I don't understand
"you should right click and publish your substance to get the correct format"

Thanks

Michel_Men 05-10-2011 07:59 PM

hi Phil,
right click your Substance in Designer, then you can choose publish from the Menue, and save as sbar(substance archiv) format.
Thats not so difficult at all.

Hope it helps...

PhilCoraz 05-11-2011 02:25 AM

Thanks Michel i found it...

Allegorithmic Substance Designer V 1.2.0Build 6293+CRACK

http://www.arabsdurra.org/Durra_imag...zmmdknnzqw.jpg
Allegorithmic?s Substance Designer Ver 1.2.0 Build 6293 | 64.55 MB

Substance Designer is a powerful material processing solution that
brings smart texturing at the heart of 3D creation pipelines. It is
designed to help any artist transform all kinds of image resourcesfrom
classic bitmaps to exclusive procedural elementsinto real-time dynamic
and highly flexible textures and filters.

kitt 07-04-2011 11:23 PM

thanks a bunch!!! version 1.2.0 includes the Maya 2012 bonus tools. also up in the tutorial section is the Digital Tutors - Rendering with Substance Textures tutorial. a nice little learning project for today. thanks to people like the OP and this web site for giving poor people, such as myself, the chance to learn as well. VFX schooling shouldn't only be for the well-to-do, or for trust fund babies.

nataki 09-13-2011 02:06 PM

you can up on hotfile or mediafire ??
